Reasons Why I chose to use Metastock Professional, stock charting software.
Using my past technical skills, I wanted to know how BNP Paribas were able to build up my share portfolio
and then systematically send me broke after the crash of 2000.
I construct my own Metastock templates and draw my own charts on a range of stocks in the ASX.
Over the past few years, I have successfully predicted the demise of
One Tel, HIH, Pasminco,
Sons of Gwalia
to name a few.
Most recently, I saw the demise of ABC Learning unfolding as early as June 2008
and informed
the Government of my findings soon after.
This current recessionary period may extend to at least 2012-13 and in the meantime, many more surprises will be revealed.
I'm not saying that I'm another Nouriel Roubini, but I will say that, through my charts, I can see the onset of a looming collapse
as I did in July 2007 and early December 2007 and most recently, early January 2009.
The patterns of impending rises may also be seen in the charts.
Roubini appears to have futuristic visions of world economics and has been vilified for his "too early" predictions.
I prefer to follow the parabolic patterns in my charts and the indicators that "dance" around them.
